The Britania is a fully restored Art Deco town house hotel designed by famous Portuguese modernist architect Cassiano Branco, and located 50 meters from Lisbon's Avenida da Liberdade and less than a kilometer from the Calouste Gulbenkian Museum, one of Europe's finest collections of modern art. The Carris Aero Bus number 91 departs every 20 minutes to the city centre and to the Cais do Sodre railway station journey time is about 20 minutes. Nearest stop to the hotel is Avenue da Liberdade 50 meters. Taxis are available from outside the airport.
Driving directions, From Lisbon Airport follow signs for Lisbon center. Once you've reached the center, follow signs for Maques de Pombal. Then follow signs to Rossio square and take the Liberdade Avenue. Turn right in front of the metro station and take the first street on the left.
